Lord Of The Rings- Everything We Know About Hunt For Gollum And The Next Movies
Believe it or not, Peter Jackson’s Oscar-winning The Lord of the Rings movies debuted more than 20 years ago. The third movie, Return of the King, swept the Oscars and won 11 Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director for Jackson. He followed those up with a much less critically adored (but still commercially successful!) The Hobbit trilogy. Now, two decades on, Warner Bros. and New Line have announced plans to make new The Lord of the Rings movies, and that makes for potentially exciting news for fans of the series.
As with any announcement about new entries to a beloved series, some fans are skeptical, and understandably so. WB/New Line is plotting ahead with an attempt to create what insiders are calling a Star Wars-like universe for Middle-ear…

After decades of trying to get Megalopolis made, director Francis Ford Coppola put up $120 million of his own money for the film. But the promotional campaign is off to a rocky start after the trailer was pulled by Lionsgate because fans discovered that it quoted fake reviews for Coppola’s earlier movies.
Megalopolis was already facing bad buzz after its festival screenings. The trailer seemed like it was designed to counter that by quoting contemporary negative reviews for The Godfather, Apocalypse Now, and Bram Stoker’s Dracula. The implication was that critics were wrong about these classics, and also wrong about Megalopolis. However, it didn’t take long for people to realize that the reviews in question weren’t real.
Via Variety, a Lionsgate spokesperson said, “We offer …

Capcom is putting out another classic fighting game collection, including Capcom vs. SNK 2, both Power Stone games, the Rival Schools sequel Project Justice, and Street Fighter 3 Alpha. Capcom vs. SNK 2 got a PlayStation Network port back in 2013, but no other re-release.
The ESRB Made A Song To Celebrate Turning 30 For Some Reason
In September 1994, the Entertainment Software Rating Board officially began rating video games in North America, a practice which it continues to this day. Although the ESRB’s 30th anniversary won’t officially arrive until September 16, its employees have decided to celebrate a few weeks early by releasing a new song, E is for Everyone, which playfully explains the purpose of its game ratings.
As related on the ESRB’s official site, this song was inspired by the educational tunes from the Schoolhouse Rock animated show of the ’70s and ’80s. Presumably the animated singers in this video are based on real people who work for the ESRB, but the video doesn’t credit them by name. The lyrics of the song also explain how the rating process unfolds, the four major ratings, as we…
